The minimum level of study necessary is an FSc in pre-engineering, and the registration deadline has been extended until July 2022.

Eligibility Criteria to Join Pak Marine Academy through 61 Batch 2023

  • Qualification: FSc (pre-engineering) or A/O-Level with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with at least 55% marks
  • FSc Part-II results awaiting candidates can also apply with 60% marks in FSc part-I by submitting the HOPE Certificate.
  • O/A Level candidates must submit equivalence certificates
  •  Age limit: Maximum 20 years on 31 December 2022 (21 years for the Fata/ AJK/ Gilgit Baltistan candidates)
  • Gender and marital status: unmarried males
  • Height: 5 Feet 4 Inches
  • Those candidates who have dual nationality have to leave all other nationalities.

Selection Criteria for Pak Marine Academy 61st batch 2023

  • Candidates must pass the entry test with at least 50% marks.
  • The hired Testing Agencies will conduct the entry Test in Gwadar, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Abbottabad, Abbottabad, and Muzaffarabad (AJK), Peshawar, Quetta, and Sukkur centers.
  • Shortlisted candidates will attend the medical examination at designated Amry/Navy/PAF Hospitals.
  • The final selection is based on merit, including interview and PET (Physical Examination Test).

PET (Physical Examination Test) for Marine Academy 61st Batch 2023

  • Running: 01 miles (1.6 KM) in 8:30 minutes
  • Push-ups: 15 repetitions in 02 minutes
  • Sits-ups: 10 repetitions in 02 minutes
  • Chin-ups: 02 repetitions in 02 minutes

The selected and eligible candidates will receive the different 37 scholarships in the Pakistan Marine Academy that are divided into the following categories:

Education/Training at Pak Marine Academy 2023

  • Candidates will get the 02-years of residential training at Pakistan Marine Academy.
  • NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi will offer associate degrees in Natural Science and Marine Engineering.
  • Certificate of IMO recognized pre-Sea Mandatory Courses.

  • Submit the application form with pay order/bank draft of Rs 3000/- through courier service in favor of Pakistan Marine Academy, Karachi, NBP, PMA Branch Code-0239.
  • Candidates who want to apply under the Self Finance Scheme (SFS) will deposit an additional pay order/bank draft of Rs 300,000/- with the application form. However, SFS fees are refundable on open-merit selection.
